19th-Century NYC Mansion Hits the Market for Staggering $8M

The Carroll Mansion is a magnificent property that stretches 8,500 square- feet. The Mansion was created in the 1800s by a highly proclaimed architect, Clarence True, who helped create multiple buildings in the Upper West Side and Harlem. Although the building was made over a century ago, the features are all still remarkably intact. The breathtaking edifice has an intricate interior that is filled with elegant wooden carvings. The home itself has an Elizabethan Renaissance Revival theme that adds to the flavor of the mansion. Overlooking the beautiful Riverside park, the Carroll Mansion would cost its buyer 8 million dollars, and the future owner would get every penny’s worth.

According to a Crain’s New York Business article, the five- story home owns nine bedrooms, six bathrooms, and three entertainment rooms where the future owner could host amazing parties. In addition, there are many places around the mansion, including a terrace, that are designated spots where plants can be grown, and nurtured. The house also contains large windows on every floor that allows sunlight to flow into the home, as well as detailed ceiling decorations, wood paneled doors, and even 11- in ceilings. This elaborate 50- foot- wide home is located on 86 Riverside Drive, and it is definitely a sight to see if one is in the area. The Carroll mansion is an amazing real- estate opportunity that is definitely worth people’s attention. Investing in this breath-taking 19th century mansion will surely not disappoint.
