Speaker Pelosi was in London on Sunday with a congressional delegation to meet with anti-semite Jeremy Corbin, who leads Britain’s Labour party.

“Following the President’s tweet, I spoke with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family, and her staff,” Pelosi said Sunday in a statement. “They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces.”

President Trump’s words “weigh a ton,” Pelosi said, adding that “his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger.”

“President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video,” Pelosi added, demanding that he remove the video from his Twitter.

“WE WILL NEVER FORGET!” Mr. Trump said in the tweet with the video, which showed remarks made last month at a Council for American-Islamic Relations event by Rep. Omar where she de, followed by video footage from the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Rep. Omar said last month.

“First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something,'” Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, said on Twitter. “Unbelievable.”

“When someone calls out a public official for things they said, it is not endangering their life or inciting violence,” Rep. Crenshaw added following claims that Rep. Omar’s words were being misconstrued. “Claiming otherwise is just an attempt to silence your critics.”

“The President is inciting violence against a sitting Congresswoman—and an entire group of Americans based on their religion,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who is running for president said Friday. “It’s disgusting. It’s shameful. And any elected leader who refuses to condemn it shares responsibility for it.”

“The president is absolutely and should be calling out the congresswoman for her..not only one time, but history of anti-semitic comments,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” “The bigger question is, why aren’t Democrats doing the same thing?”
