On Sunday, April 14, 2019, the NYPD’s Shomrim Society once again assembled in the Community Room of the Grand Street Coops to prepare and distribute Passover food packages to members of the Jewish Community.  This annual Lower East Side event attracts top brass of the NYPD, as well as community leaders, who return to the cradle and mother neighborhood of New York City’s Jewish Community to preform the great Mitzva of ensuring that all members of the Jewish faith will be able to enjoy the Passover Holiday.
